Can you please check this VIN and can I have the data card please
Hi Joe,

This is my 2011 C63 VIN - wdd2040772a605062 - would be nice to have a data sheet as well.

Can you check to see if this motor is effected by the Head Bolt issue - also if it is not does it also mean the issue with the premature camshaft wear is also resolved?

Anything else the updated motor resolves?

Just bought a 2011 Vin: WDDGF7HB5BF582744 can you tell me if it's affected and share the data sheet.

Also i don't know if people have told you enough but you're helping a lot of people on here and it's really great of you to step up.

Just look at last 5 digits of engine serial number. If greater than 60658 you're in good shape.

Your car is a 2012. It has an M157 engine not M156.

I've been shopping around for a used ML63 recently.
One I found had a carfax that stated the "Intake manifold gasket(s) replaced".
Does this mean the head bolts were replaced as well? Just curious if this means this engine is safe from head bolt failure now. Thanks.

That repair has nothing to do with headbolt replacement.

Replace them before it becomes an issue. It'll keep your "repair" cost down. If your under warranty it has to fail before it's warrantied.
