Thinking of going to the Detroit Auto show in January

I went last year becuase it was the only show that was showing the SLS BS and since I had one on order I wanted to make sure I saw the car in person, four hour drive from Chicago made it a no brainer. Some special arrangements were made for me to get behind the ropes and sit in the car. Go over to AMG PL they usually have VIP tix available over there for most auto shows.
I stayed at the MGM Grand Detroit, nice hotel with a nice casino, several fine dining and casual dining options, bars and two night clubs right on the MGM property. Went up with a buddy and we had a blast. If you don't stay at MGM, you can head over to Windsor Canada, there are a couple nice hotels there or head out about 30 minutes to the Townsend in Birmingham. We might be heading up again this year and will stay at MGM if I do go.
