weird sequence triggers all windows to go down partially
i tried to search if anyone else knew of this but couldn't find anything...
i'm not exactly sure of what needs to be done to make this happen... a while back i did spend a minute or so on trying to recreate it but it was at night and i didn't want to keep locking/unlocking the car with the lights flashing...
this usually happens when i'm at the rear driver side door... i lock the door by placing my finger over the little square on the handle and then i unlock it and open the door and then close it back up... and then for some reason all the windows will roll down 1/3 of the way and the sun roof will begin it's opening procedure but only gets to the point of slightly lowering itself getting ready to open up but it stops with barely a crack opened...
anyone know what this is?
i've known about this for quite a while but it kept slipping my mind...

In cars with no keyless entry, you can point the key at the driver's door and hold the unlock button to roll down the windows/sunroof. I'm sure you're doing the keyless entry equivalent of that.

this is weird because after this sequence is done and the keys are still in my pocket, everything rolls down for exactly the same amount each time and stops...

It's a safety thing. I read it in the online manual. It says something about if you are doing "convenience closing" (the automatic window/sunroof closing) by holding the sensor and someone gets trapped as the window or sunroof close, you can immediately release them by opening the door. See attached.
