Photoshoot:: '08 C63 Estate on ADV.1 TrackFunction ADV15 Wheels
I got bored of my previous setup so decided to try a different route.
New set of wheels for 2k14
3-piece Step-lip ADV15 Trackfunction
Brushed gunmetal centers + Single tint brushed gunmetal lips
Front 8.5x19 & Rear 10x19
No spacers at the moment.
Mods:
- H&R coils
- CF add-ons
- new OEM wagon roof spoiler extension
- new A45-style CF mirrors with red-stripe
BTW the HREs are still with me and, although it's going to be hard, I am going to part with them soon.
This is a temporary setup - I will try fitting some spacers in the front and will either add some red accents or will replace the mirrors with full CF mirrors.

Abcut, I know this setup is not for everyone because most people prefer monoblock wheels. With step lips its either love or hate.
I wanted a new set of wheels and, as I never had 3-piece step lip wheels, this was a great opportunity to try something new.
I updated the first post - pics are up

Hi Matt, what are the offsets on the new wheels.
They look nice.
But to be honest I kind of like the HRE's better.

Looks awesome Matt and always good to change and try some diff set ups, did the same with my CSL went rays in bronze then gunmetal and so many other bits.
Just starting out with the 63 but love that your pushing the boundaries, looks very Motorsport on those rims, like a lot
Best mate went BBS LM on CSL and loved them

I liked the HREs more as well but I had them long enough.
I'll see which wheels I'll decide to keep.
The new wheels fit perfectly without spacers. ADV did a great job on the offsets but they keep them top secret so I don't know the offsets.
But a rough estimate would be ET50 in the rear and ET35 in the front.
Maybe I'll use a 5 or 10mm spacer in the front to see how it looks.
But without the spacers, I got rid off the dreadful steering wheel vibrations at speeds above 130km/h.

I really like the rear step-lips on these ADV15s but the fronts are an inch to small. I'll see if I can get new bigger ones.

Looks amazing Matt, well done!
If you want some ideas for red accents, you could try paint the wheels centres black and the rivets red, you could even redo all the badges on the car in red with plastidip.
Or if you wanted to go to the wild side, since you have blacked out all the chrome on the car already, redo the wheels, with the barrel and rivets in red, and the centres in black.

I'm not a fan of colored wheels. On my cars, I only accept wheels in the shades of grey, from white to black

Hm, I just saw one of these pictures on my facebook. Small world.
I know the offsets on my ADV's. At least that was what I was told unless they can be measured somehow? Dunno

HREs are monoblocks without lips so they appear bigger and I still like them but there is something about step lip multispoke wheels that made me want them for a long time.
I like being unique. That's why I never bought Forgestars CF10 or HRE P40 although they are beautiful wheels.
