2010 C63 needs Facelift
So my situation is that I purchased a 2010 C63 at a Tow Auction, where the original owner didn't return the car to the insurance company. There is a very minor chance that the car may hold a salvaged title (even though the tow yard originally said it was clean through the DMV), but I'm hoping not since the car fax is still showing clean. It may be salvaged because a 3rd party NMVTIS website shows potential for salvaged, and I was able to convince the tow yard before the auction, this kept the bidding low. Looking at the car, there was no airbag or side curtain deployments, the seatbelt pyros didn't go off, and the engine bay seemed fine. There was damage to the driver side fender, bumper, hood, and support structure behind the bumper, which tore the serpentine belt.
Couple of questions/help please.
1) Can I get the service/parts manual on-line, or a working link - I checked several links doing the searches here, but they were dead. I know my other options are going on e-bay or to the dealer.
2) Can someone be so kind as to check what option package(s) the car came with (or provide me with a link). It's Vin # WDDGF7HB3XXXXXXXX. The guy I was bidding against said the car came with every option available. I was very hesitant to believe that.
3) If anyone knows who this car previosly belong to (or if that person is on this forum), I would like to talk to them to find out the history on the car. It's black with light tan interior. License plate # 6XRG422. The NMVTIS website says it has roughly 23k miles and the accident happened late last year, most likely in the San Francisco/Bay Area.
4) Lastly, and most importantly, which brings me to the title of this thread; Can I upgrade to the 2012 post face lift front clip. Since my front bumper cover, hood, and left front fender are toast, can I just get a 2012 or newer front clip. I read up on here, and it looks like only the lights and hood are different. My right Xenon/adaptive light, foglight and fender are still good. I'm pretty sure it is doable, but I wasn't sure if the fenders are different on the 2012 and newer C63. If someone has done the conversion, can you list out the parts that were needed. My subframe behind the front bumper is tweeked as well, so I'm sure I will have to replace that too (The radiator and condenser look OK).
I appreciate any help I can get.

I told you Merc63 had parts
As for the conversion it is possible. If you go with a facelift bumper you old one would be useless no matter if the foglights are in working order as you won;t need them. You have the option of installing the facelift bumper with your OEM headlight/hood but it won't be a perfect fit since you'll have gaps around the headlights.
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...c63-sedan.html
Since your hood is gone why not upgrade with a facelift hood/headlights/bumper. Headlights might be expensive but i just saw a member posting about hid conversion using aftermarket parts. Might be worth asking him
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-retrofit.html
Now you will need to know the wiring diagram for the lights since the connections are different from the pre-facelift. Some members register on EPC-net online (epc.startekinfo.com). I think it is free.

abcut973, I saw your link to the front conversion. The gaps don't look that bad/noticeable. Did you already get the front bumper painted? Do you have before/after photos? Did you ever upgrade to newer lights and hood?
I'm thinking of just getting the '12 bumper and keeping everything else '10.

Are you running the '12 cover on your car or do you have your original one on? Do you want to sell the one you are not using

Anyone have a link on where I can go to find P/N's for various front end parts on my 2010 C63. I think the dealer is getting tired of me making the visits and not buying any parts. I went on https://mercedespartscenter.com and they have diagrams and prices, but they won't list the P/N's. Their prices are very competitive (about 75% of dealer prices), and they let you type in the MB P/N's, but not reverse searches. I suspect it's because they don't want a cheap ******* like me to do further price comparison via e-bay or other sites.
Here are some pictures of what I'm getting myself into. The last photo is a bit misleading because the front bumper is actually sticking out. The left front wheel does not look to have moved, there was no marking on the rim or tire, and the wheel "appears" to be centered in the fender well. I'll have to take it to a shop to confirm frame and lower control arm are OK. It looks like the top of the headlight took the force of the damage. The airbags and seatbelt pyros did NOT go off.

Anthony, Thank you Thank you Thank you. It's been over 10 years since I last owned a MBZ. This is exactly what I was looking for. I can't thank you enough.
Now I have to price everything out and get the lube ready cause I'm sure it's gonna be painful.

I'm looking forward to see your progress on the car! Keep us updated and good luck. The end result will be worth it! Are you going to the the 12 13 front end or the pre facelift?

There is a guy on ebay parting out a 2012 C250. He quoted me $5500 for the whole front clip. The car is a coupe, but I think the main problem is that it probably won't fit because the fenders are wider on the C63. I was thinking about getting the whole front clip and fenders, but that is a huge gamble (at least for me) to get all that stuff and find out it doesn't fit. I like the idea of having a sleeper though.

im surprised they deemed the car a write off, looks like around 15-20k in damages, car should be worth around 35-45k? not sure how insurance works...these cars crunch zones work amazing..just incredible honestly never seen a car take a impact so well before...althought i could be wrong, tire and such looks fine..looks mostly cosmetic?

I don't believe that the regular C class front clip will fit a C63. The front track of the C63 is wider thus the wider front fenders and I don't think the wheels will fit under the regular fenders. Also the fenders and hood are longer to get the 6.2 engine, accessories and cooling parts to fit under it all.

I have two Bi-Xenon headlights from my 2010 C63 available for sale. Both work perfectly. Insurance replaced my headlights, fog lights, front fascia and repaired my hood due to rock chip damage. No collision. Headlights have normal micro blemishes from normal use.

So finally got my hands on the car. Couple additional items I didn't account for: The Radiator, condenser, oil cooler, and varies oil lines are toast. Luckily, the steering and tranny cooler are in tact. The fan shroud will need to be replaced as well, and it pushed and messed up the plastic on one of the small pulleys.
All the fender gaps are still good, however it does look like the wheel took part of the impact because it sits about 1/4" to 1/2" back. I measured the gap from the outside of the tire to the fender edge, then as a cross check, the center of front wheel to back wheel, and it was a 1/4" or so shorter on the impact side. Hopefully it's in the lower control arms or bushing, which I think I can swap out later. The subframe/engine support looked OK.
I was also able to get the contact info of the prior owner through the lien sale paperwork. Hopefully, he won't be too upset to talk to me and tell me the situation and possible give me a copy of the bodyshop estimate for salvaging the car out. I know car accidents can be touchy for people.
Anyway, here are some pics. I will attempt to start it tomorrow if I can find a pulley replacement, belt, and battery charged:

Merc63, we already chatted through IM. Were you able to get a freight quote for the hood and fender? I'm in San Jose, CA 95139. I can pick up at whatever station is close by me.
