C63, McLaren & 458 Italia Spider

Here are some clips of our 350 mile fun run through remote north Texas. I was driving my 2011 C63 and following my friends in a McLaren and 458. My C63 could hang with the Ferrari in acceleration but not in the fast corners. The McLaren smoked both cars. It was very fast. Half way through is some video of me in the Ferrari and McLaren. Most of the speeds in the video were between 80 and 150mph. I hit 160 twice in the last minutes of the video.

Enjoy.

That looks fun! I have hit the back roads a few times myself. Ya' know, if you continue on west along 455 you'll wind up at Eagles Canyon Raceway. If you and your friends want to try that I know some guys who organize events up there. Just let me know.

Hey - we are north west of Sanger. I don't know what the route was, but I'll let you know when we go again. We'll have 5 or 6 cars next time.

If you're already in TX, why not do this legally instead of risking lives and jail time?

Because Ft. Stockton TX is over 6 hours away just to get there. I like to get in some g-force time AND still make to one of Plano's finest breastaurants for a late lunch all in the same day.

Ha. I'm definitely not the police of any kind. But I love smart people that record themselves and give tons of identifiable information when they break laws. Hey why not record yourselves robbing a few banks and post it on YouTube. LOL

As for lives? I would guess yours, especially if you hit a cow at those speeds.

Personally the jail time would be more worrisome. Especially when I'm recording all the evidence any cop would need. But hey, maybe you have a hook up and don't need to worry.

All that being said, it looked fun.

I hear ya. I think I would kick somebody's **** if they recorded it and posted to the web though.
