Shorter final drive! which gearsets of other diffs are compatible?

dear guys,

i would like to change the final drive ratio (i= 2.82) to a shorter one (3.x).
does anybody know what rear axle of other cars do have shorter gearsets installed that will fit into the C63 diff housing?

i know some chrysler diffs would fit but they are very hard to source here in europe. so i would need a diff from a merc!

any ideas? or are there any aftermarket sources which sell short gearsets (that will last even when the car is driven hard in competition use)?

i hope you guys can help me...

PM me. I can help you with this. I have a few different gears for the c63 that can work. 3.06 and even 3.23. You will need to make this all compatible with your ECU as well which I can help you with as well.

Why do you want to do this? First gear is already so short. Probably snap your axles of your dragging.

yes, first is too short. so only 6 left. and these are too long, especially the last one.
and i will never drive quicker than 400, so why should i want a final drive that that is good for +400kph.
