Roof Wrap
I am just wondering if anyone out here has the roof of their C63 wrapped? I am contemplating doing this, in gloss black or perhaps CF and was hoping to see some pictures prior to actually going ahead with it.
Preferably on a white C63. Thanks everyone!

Have you seen this? I saw this on eBay. It states that it is a carbon fiber roof with a power dome. eBay item number 261318212735. Just put this on the search button in eBay and it should pop up. Expensive as s@@@ though. I think you are better off doing it yourself. Maybe someone knows what this is exactly.

Hmm that seems pretty interesting. The only reason I am contemplating this is because I like the black and white contrast. I have some CF parts too so the gloss black might flow nicely..even though it won't be CF. The CF wrap is so dull so I don't know if I should be doing that.

Yea deff not looking into changing the whole roof..just a wrap which won't be super expensive and will give a different look for a while.

That's what I was thinking. In the USA all coupes have pano, except BS right? It would be nice if you could get a Carbon piece to replace some pano glass.
What I really want is shade fabric to completely block out the light when closed as opposed to the fishing net material which does next to nothing. I digress...
OP- Roof wrap is relatively easy to do. I've been wrapping all the chrome on my car with http://www.ebay.com/itm/60-x48-3M-1080-GLOSS-BLACK-Vinyl-Vehicle-Decal-Car-Wrap-Film-Sheet-Sticker-Roll-/221263121448?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item33844f4c28#ht_2764wt_1314, and it is super easy to work with. A large relatively flat area (roof) wouldn't be difficult to DIY.

I can't even apply a screen protector on my phone without it getting bubbles, so I am deff. not going to be able to do that. I will take it to a local shop.
But I am more concerned with if it's something I want to do. Which is why I am hoping that the people that have some sort of wrap post some pictures for me and help me make my decision. Thanks a lot!

I am having my roof wrapped in satin or semi-gloss tomorrow in Houston by Deviate. They do great work and I trust them implicitly. I cannot wait to see how it turns out. The guys there are absolutely great and have done right to many members here on the forum.
I'll send pics and let you guys know.

i've bought a few carbon fiber vinyls over the past year. none of them look as good as this one i recently received.
it's the closest thing to the carbon fiber look we all want that i've seen thus far. only problem is that in certain lighting, it's a little hard to tell it's "carbon fiber"...it almost just looks black at times, but in good/decent lighting, it should be good.
