Which is nicer wheels? keep the silver lining or full black?

I am wondering which will look nicer and better on white c63 wheels, keeping the lining or making it full black! if I want it black how shall i do it? or what is the best way you recommend! I am going to be tinting the windows black, wrapping the grille gloss black and even the chrome. so what do you think guys!

For example these wheels,

IMHO, full black would look better with those particular wheels.

Keep them as is. All black makes them get lost with the tires IMO. If you do get them done, powder coating is the way to go.

+1 on the coating. I personally like the cleaner all black option.

Try Plasti dip. If you don't like it then take it off.

Depends on the color of your car.

Olszowa12's setup looks sick on a black car.

All black, the stripe makes it look like white sidewalls.

I think that's powder coated Matt black. I like it especially if you have red calipers or yellow! Looks really mean.

The Matt black honestly will look really nice with the red calipers. It will make the calipers stand out even more especially if you blacking out the car. Just my .02

Decided to leave them as they are. Even the grille I won't make it black gloss. I will just add p31 carbon fiber diffuser and modecarbons front lip. Seems good?

Congrats on your car! Did you get it locally? Qatar has some nice used 63s collection! What model did you get?

As for the wheel, all black would look less attractive, the silver lining will go well with your white car even if you black out the grill/badges/chrome parts.

Count me among those who have never understood an all-black wheel. You can spend all the $$$$$ in the world on wheels and still not be able to see them. They're just lumps sitting in the wheel well. And yes, that look is played out. That said, there's no question but that on Olszowa12's car that's as good as the wheel can look, which is fantastic. They'll never pop like that on a white car. JMHO.

Well, I didn't get it yet! Tomorrow I am gonna take it and check it in the garage to make sure everything is good. It is c63 2013 coupe. I decided to leave everything as it is except for the diffuser. I will replace it with CF p31 + modcarbons front lip I guess. Badges and all these stuff I will leave it as it is too..More classy and aggressive looking at the same time you know..

I have the same feeling. Too many blacked-out civics and old bmw around

I had both setups and all black look worse than black + polished lip.

Photos of the Week: Polished Lip or All-Black Wheels?

Have you ever been in the situation where a woman sitting across the table from you at a restaurant begins to brush her toe against your thigh, and you have to keep yourself from getting the stupidest look on your face because you are surrounded by about 100 members of the general public? Well, that’s […]

I agree, darker cars like black or grey look better with the polished lip. Lighter color cars like white or silver look better with all black. It's all about the contrast.

I'd keep the silver. The little bit of contrast is nice. The all black is too much and it all blends in too much.
