SLS tune in C63
Undoubtedly, someone, has done this?
The SLS Black motor is rated at 626 hp and has harder main bearings and a lot of other things. Different cams and heads available in Germany and other things should be able to get the engine to seven hundred streetable and long life horsepower plus a little, without turbos
Is anyone offering a pkg of an SLS tune engine, dry sump and the rest, into a C63?
It should not cost as much as some of the things offered by Tuners. A C63 weighs somewhere around 3800 lbs, about the sale as an SLS.
Headers and exhaust might take some fitment. The rear end might need to be changed?
Brakes upgrade would be a have to.
biggest challenge might be redoing the wheel tubs to fit wider tires.
A couple of Tuners offer tuning and axle etc to get close to the 600 hp level but at 20,000.00 plus. For that kind of money should be reasonable to get an SLS equivalent or better C63?

Off topic, but is there an ice tank in the weistec kit because it doesn't come with an intercooler? Do you only put ice water in it when you're at the track for a boost in cooling or what?

Different cams, different heads, different timing, different MAF's and intakes just for starters. An SLS M159 tune would never work on a M156. I was the first one to put SLS cams in an M156....I will sell them to you cheap if that tells you how well they worked out.
Go with an aftermarket tune that has been optimized for the M156 motor. As others have already said here in this thread, if you want to be able to spank an SLS just bolt on a Weistec blower and be done with it.

Dry sump is a space issue from what I understand. Height of M156 motor location will not allow the clearance needed. I am not sure what OP is talking about but I have never heard of any tuner in the world that has dry sumped an M156. I have been on the forefront of tuning these motors since 2007 and have not heard of anyone doing it.

Sorry for so many posts. Not trying to be a d!ck but almost everything in your post is not accurate. C63 weighs 4000 pounds, an SLS is 3600. Brake upgrade is probably the easiest thing you list and you said it would be most difficult. I converted my C BS to AMG carbon Ceramic brakes over a year ago, it takes less than a day and about $13,000, very simple. Why would the rear-end need to be changed? A C63 BS accomplishes a lot of what you are looking for so why not just buy one of those??
