looks just like the arkym one i put on my front. i have a JL Rear Big Fin Diffuser though. fitment is good. i just dont like the metal tabs.

Looks great!

If I ever do a lip this is the one I would get.

Question - Are the sides of the lip around the outer edge thicker compared to the front?

No the edges are actually thinner then the middle. The middle is hollow but where it wraps around toward the wheel wells it thins out to one solid piece.

How was install and fitment?

I am looking to pull the trigger on the front lip, rear diffuser and trunk lid. I know Mode Carbon is quality but bug price difference,

Hey Zack,

Lip looks great! I got the same one but fitment isn't as flush as yours, did it get better once installed? Also, any hints for putting it on? What did you use.. I'm going to attempt this on the weekend.

not trying to be rude but how much did you pay for your car? there has both been good and horrible reviews on JL... while mode has always been good. something to keep in mind.


I was one of the first to use Mode Carbon on this forum.. at that time they were just getting started and I thought the prices were 'cheaper' lol... but I guess now they are considered high end

these are accent pieces, somethings you can get away with going the cheap route (imo front lip as it can get destroyed relatively easily anyways) but the trunk and rear spoiler would last you a long time unless you get into an accident. My mode trunk lip and my vorsteiner diffuser is still top after all these years. just ask MS3008 what his experiences were when we went with a cheap diffuser.. switching a couple times and ultimately his vorsteiner now.

just food for thought
