Racing seats
Guys i am strongly considering buying a matching front set of racing/bucket seats for my w212 e63 tt and am looking at sparco and status seats. I know some might say why do this to the car or you gonna loose massage functions etc but could live without those very easily...
Anybody have any experience with these companies? Any recommendations?
I know its not a w212 section but this forum gets most of the traffic so mods pls leave it here

I personally like that Status has a leather bucket seat available...it kinda keeps the feel of the OEM seats. Or if you're feeling like a baller, you can shell out for a CF Tecnocraft seat.

Airbag lite will be on tho but u can live with it.
Steering wheels will stay in one position.
Also you should know the weight with and without sliders . My driver side is 22lbs no slider only mounting brackets and seat is always in one position.
Passages side has a slider and stronger brackets more heavy duty but it's 39lbs.
Seats alone are 600-700 and brackets for both will be about the same 500-600 and they will need your car for a day or 2 for fitment.
I Have them off the car now but if u want I can put them on and u can take it for a ride.

I have a Sparco Evo in the drivers side of my race car, great seat and I love it.
I also have a Corbeau passenger seat, not as great.. lol..
I would go Sparco or Recaro.

Just sat in the CLA45 AMG Recaro seats today, honestly THE best Mercedes seats I have ever sat in my life. They blow any aftermarket option out of the water. You have to get those seats in black leather, amazing! I bet you they are a direct plug n play option

Hands down Recaro's are the best seats I've ever experience from the factory in any car
My Evo came with them and I still have them in there!
We have the bracket jigs here ready to be built for the W204!

The Recaro Sportster's are my fav seats. Love the BMW performance versions of them.
Would definitely recommend them.
