Eh don't be concerned about it. Very rare occurrence. Better than M3s rod bearing issues.

Check the Headbolt issues sticky. They have the range there somewhere early on.

I just hit 90K.. I have an extended warranty that'll take me for another 20K but after that i'm thinking i'm gonna ride it out and hope for the best. I've no where near recouped the cost of my extended warranty investment, so I'm kind of iffy to try to extend it again, not sure if that's even possible.

I've read it's around 5K to fix it preemptively, and anywhere up to 21K at the higher end to fix it afterwards. I figure if it does happen and I catch it early (first low coolant warning, direct to the dealer), hopefully MB will have mercy on my soul.
