nope, i hate mustangs. The only one id keep if given to me would be an 03/04 cobra. A friend of mine has a newer boss and it's nice and all for a mustang. It's way better than the older ones but still your typical domestic build quality. I couldn't help but laugh when he said it's limited edition one of like 3000 made that year. They only made 10,500 lotus esprits over a 28yr period. there's only 12,000 supras in usa from 93-98. 3000 of which are 6spd tt's. U.s. car companies are a joke when it comes to "special editions"
Id really like to see some of the more current amg production numbers. I know my previous slk55 was one of 550 in the us for that year. Maybe every amg vehicle should have limited edition badge too I do wish amg's would be numbered. other than the special editions that just say 1 of 20. i think people would really appreciate a unique touch and special badge so they know which one it is. My esprit is #63 built in 2002 (ya shear luck i didnt even know till after i bought it)

I raced a 5.0 awhile back..smoked him pretty good, I don't mind mustangs..what I do hate is the jackasses who drive them that think their mustang will pull 500k lambos in 2nd. Pretty impressive with just a tune to beat a 440WHP 5.0..I'm guessing the benz is putting out around 450-470whp?

If I bought domestic it sure wouldn't be a mustang! It would either be a Viper SRT or a Vette ZR1. Other than that next on my list is a GT3.
Anyone know how the C63 does against a new Boss Mustang? Stock or tuned?

What caught my eye was the sound of the 5.0 idle. It shaked like a old school muscle car. What gets me is the 5.0 is at least 300lbs lighter with similar whp.

After I handed the buyer the keys to my stang and he pulled away I instantly felt bad. I never knew how beautiful it sounded till I heard it outside the car.
This was of my GT with Borlas:

The boss is a purpose but track car. On the track it would spank the C63. On the street it would be a tough call. The boss if optioned with the LSD and 3:73 gears is offly fast with a higher redline than a GT. And this isn't just a biased opinion since I used to own one. It's very fast around the track (for a live axle American RWD heavyweight) when you dial in the suspension and heat up the tires. It's truly one of the best sounding American V8s too. The best ever American exhausts though are the Daytona coupe and the GT40 exhausts.

I just couldnt believe it, It sounds killer. When I get mine the two mod I'm doing is a Satin Pearl wrap and resonator deletes.
You made the right choice! I love my stang and almost got a GT500 but after comparing both I am going with a C instead of a Shelby. Although it has like 673HP, the C is so much more well refined and high quality. Plus that exhaust note is so killer!

It's because that solid axle can't put down that power it's that simple. I remember reading about 2010 and 2011 cobras how they were 500- 600 hp and still can barely break the five second barrier to 60.

they were about 550 crank stock, and it was slow mostly because it would light up the tires instantly, nothing about the axle. I had some good tires and about 450 crank hp and was putting down 4.0-4.1 second 0-60 times... People talk a lot of smack on the live axles, but honestly, its one of the best cars I've driven with a live rear and heavy body.
