Nano Sealant
Anyone have any insight on using nano sealant on the paint. Just came across a detailer by me that applies this to cars, and was hoping to get someone's opinion from personal use.

I use a polymer/canuba wax/sealant hybrid called Optimum Car Wax. Sometimes I'll use the Optimum Opti-Seal.
Both are easy to apply, offer great shine, last long, and water beads very well off of each wax/sealant.

It's been at least a month since I last hand washed the car and the water is still beading off of the paint/glass like crazy.
If you're looking for something more permanent, there is Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0.

I am not sure what the product name is of the detailer shop that does it here, He is saying 8 months it will bead water and hold shine.
but here is a product I found that does the same thing

I can't speak for those products but I'd highly recommend the Optimum products. I use their complete line. Their leather/interior cleaner is fantastic (no smell and doesn't leave the leather looking/feeling greasy). They've got another interior cleaner that works on the alcantara-covered and carpeted surfaces as well.
The Optimum Metal polish is amazing too. It eliminates carbon buildup on the exhaust tips in a matter of seconds. Just don't get any on your bare skin.
The Opti-Coat 2.0 is permanent, supposedly. The gentleman that details my car has Opti-Coat 2.0 on his detailing truck and it's incredible how long it has lasted. His paint looks great.

frequent washing (with proper methods) and a regular coat of good wax (I prefer a synthetic) evry 3-4 months is all you need (depending on service duty: winter, garage kept, etc.)
the act of caring for the car (paint maintenance) is part of the fun, a bit of excercise and you know it was done with care

I see. Interesting.

I've used Opti-seal for several years on my black pcar. Super easy to use and extra layer of protection. I still use a good wax over sealant to give a deeper shine, but the sealant provides protection the wax does not. My reason for adding a sealant into my normal paint car was that bird droppings were etching my black paint within hours in the sun. Wax alone was not providing enough protection....the sealant does. Great for a daily driver. Opti-coat is one step better, but not as easy to use as you need to due full paint prep before application.
