Have to say, sounds better then what a lot of us on here thought it would. Don't know how high this driver is reving but the exhaust note does lack that bark....

Wait until it has downpipes...it will have a much better sound, not to mention the turbo sound behind it.

I think it sounds pretty awesome. maybe it's bc I'm getting used to the sound of the new f1 cars. I do think they need to tweak the rebound a bit ... seemed a little too bouncy over the bumps to me.

The W205 is indeed growing on me. The only three things I'm not crazy about are the rear tail lights and the lack of a NA big displacement V8 sound.

It looks too much like the big brother of the CLA... Not bad, but not quite mean enough looking.

The F1 sound is sooo gross, and I think this new W205 is probably a great car but it cannot compare to the M156 in sound which is one of the most important reasons why probably 99% of you guys bought the C63!

True. Also sad when just the tires running over dirt/rocks on the track is louder than the exhaust. I wonder if they're going to have flange in the exhaust that you can open/close when like the valvetronics.

Well, it's an inline 6 . . . but I still agree. The turbo inline six sounds like a weed whacker.

I feel it is sad to see everyone buying a car like that just for the sound. A car's sound can always be edited or made loud to some extent. I gotta say..the C63 is all about its strong engine compared to the other competitors such as the BMW M3/4 Audi RS5..I gotta say MB are doing a great job in improving the engine's strength and the stability of the car. The exterior and interior will eventually be the bomb compared to the other cars. The exhaust sound of the new C63 can always be improved, maybe it won't be similar to our mean lion, but I am sure it is going to be loud as hell.

OK, I hate to be the guy thats always saying this but.....

I don't think this footage tells us much. Sound wise anyways. The mic used there is ****e.
There's a boatload of ambient noise, at a distance, and probably just the mic in someones handheld. All we know from that is the footage captured little to no AMG rumble. Doesn't mean it wasn't there. Not saying it was, just saying we still don't know what it sounds like.

Again, the boys at AMG are smart. Smart enough to have produced some of the horniest sounding vehicles on the road. They like rumble. They know we like rumble. As much as that motor in that car can be made to sound like a brawler Im pretty sure it will.
AMG makes Mr Wolf. They aren't going to start producing Little Red Riding Hood.
