NEED HELP, How to replace the rear diffuser?

Hey guys, I just got my rear diffuser from voresteiner. I tried to put it on by myself, finally it took me an hour and I still have no idea how to take the OEM one off.

Anyone has a installation guide or something?:crazy :

Thank you so much.

There is (1) T20 torx screw on either side and (2) 10mm (I think they were) scerws that attach the brackets.
Once removed, start at the right or left (whichever side you prefer) and start pulling outward. Have to apply a good bit of umph to get them to pull out.

If you have (4) screws laying on the ground next to you, then all the hardware is removed that needs to be.

Install is more involved.

Im not sure if the Vorsteiner comes with new brackets or not (for the price they should), if they don't, you will need to drill out the (4) rivets connecting the bracket to the oem diffuser and drill new holes into the Vorsteiner diffuser for the new connection. When installing onto the new diffuser, you will just use new bolts, washers, and nuts. Then just reinstall as you took apart.

Very simple, just did it last week and it took me 40 mins.

Edit: I just went to Lowes and bought a small bolt and nut kit that had multiple lengths of bolts to make sure I wasn't making another trip back to Lowes. Then I bought a small bag of washers and installed one on the bolt head end and one on the nut end of the bolt.

Take your time and adjust the piece before tightening the (2) 10mm screws down all the way.

Double Edit: MY EXPERIENCE WAS WITH A PRE-FACELIFT

Thanks, on a facelift sedan there has no torx screw on either side. Its just like a black plastic bolt, I have no idea how to take it off..........I may go to the body shop....
FYI, no new brackets at all.

On facelift models, there are rivets on either side instead of torx screws. To remove, we recommend drilling them out using a drill bit that is slightly larger than the rivet head. This way the head will pop off and you should be able to detach your diffuser from the brackets. Once these two rivets are removed, you can carefully pull the diffuser off of the bumper, working your way from one side of the bumper to the other side.

Was a little bit of a pain to do this, but not a big deal!
