Hi, I have a 2009 C63 with performance pack.

The car has silver calipers. Are they the same brakes that come with the 2010+ (red calipers) onward performance pack?

Yes sir.

Edit*** The calipers are all the same. Rotors are either 1 piece or 2 piece... but All C63 brakes are essentially the same.

Can use 390mm rotors ( same size as BS )?

You could technically. But you'd have to space the calipers out to accommodate the larger rotor size and I'm not positive the rotor offset is the same either.

Even though mine came with 2 piece rotors, can still put the cheaper 1 piece rotors on?

Will it make a huge difference?

It will add to unspring weight, but I believe you should be able to use them without a problem. What you might try to find is the replacement rotor, and keep the hat. That might be cheaper.

Yes you can switch to the one piece rotors.
I also have a P30 and I know how expensive the 2 pc AMG rotors are.
But because I wanted 2 pc rotors because that's a part of the P30 package I have chosen Girodisc 2 pc brakes. Search the forum for the topic.
I have the slotted version, but some others have the drilled ones which look even better imo

The rotors are totally inter-changeable. But I would suggest sticking with the 2 piece rotors if you can.

I was quoted 1600 bucks for the full set of Girodisc 2 piece rotors, Probably end up going that route my self.

Not necessarily,

They will wear just like your 1 piece rotors. However, the hats on them are re-usable. You should contact ACG and ask them if Girodisc can sell you the rotor blanks without the hats. May save you a few bucks as well.

Actually I just rechecked my PM and there was an additional shipping charge as well. So total 1765 shipped to me in Toronto for the front and rear rotors.
