I have a set of wheels that came off another c63 that was dropped with H&R springs. He had no issues. But I'm at stock height and the rear is touching a part of the lining. On the back upper part of the tire.

Aside from having to drop my car just to get these wheels to fit, I'm wondering if removing the liner would be enough. And also what it looks like without it.

How would lowering the car increase clearance???

That's what I'm saying... but it might be possible I think... the part that is touching sticks out just a tad... if the car was lowered, this would raise the wheel up a bit and the part that is touching might clear the tire and end up in the wheel well area.

this is just a theory...
