Quick Intro - C63 Coupe
Hey everyone. Long time lurker and have enjoyed learning as much as I could about these cars from the collective here before making a move. Formerly from the Porsche 996TT world, and after selling that car in 2008 have been without wheels... until now.
On Saturday I picked up a 2012 C63 Coupe in Newport Beach and am slowly making my way back to NYC. Have been looking at picking one of these up for quite awhile, and the timing was finally right to pull the trigger. Couldn't be happier with the decision so far - this thing is tons of fun. Sideways city! Got it lightly used CPO from a dealer, and it had everything I wanted - P81 and P30, carbon, etc - except for the lighting package.
However... the temptation to mod is a sickness that I've been unable to cure. It's terminal ha. So far got some tint on her, blacked out the side markers, and installed ROW airboxes. I got the C63 just so I wouldn't go too crazy on it - I thought it would be a somewhat limited upgrade path and I want to keep it tasteful... but a tune, headers, and exhaust soon wouldn't hurt either...
Anyway, just checking in here. Have a lot of reading up to do, but have a pretty good feel for the car so far. Very predictable that's for sure!

Nice pick up man. It is almost a clone car to my 2012 coupe. All of the same options except I have the wheels more commonly found on coupes while you seem to have sedan wheels. Check around to see if you have the 471 package (limited slip diff). It seems like the prior owner was interested in pure driving upgrades (p30 over upgraded headlights for example) so you may already have the LSD.
