Dilema
Having had 2 C63's for 6 years now, albeit current model has Performance pack.
No details from dealer on next generation C63? But it seems that every other Merc in my town now is either a C63 Saloon or C63 Coupe
Due a change soon Thought on the S63 Coupe but will depreciate like a brick and then there's the CLS S AMG Model? or Should I try the M5 30th edition?
The good thing about the CLS S would be the 4matic, but I've still got the Wife's A45AMG to throw about! What can I say about this model , noisy and interior finishing not that great too much money @ £56K for it now that I think of it and quite thirsty , best I can get is 27,6mpg at 65-70mph on 3hour freeway. Motorway drive.
Any honest thoughts on the M5.
Cheers

The M5 is going to feel bigger than the C63. It will ride softer. It will have a more luxurious interior.
It's going to feel heavier too, at 4300+ lbs.
The M5 might be slightly more fuel efficient than the C63 (17/22 mpg), but not by much.

The S63 coupe is a beautiful car. You're probably right about depreciating quickly, but so would the CLS. Have you thought about the E63? You can get 4Matic and the reviews have been very good.

Cheers for comments!
Every man and his dog[pardon the pun] has a C 63 in my town.
Thought the M5 JAHRE will be different ?
Probably going to kick myself if I go ahead with deal, there is something about the E-Class it just doesn't tick the boxes for me.
Cheers

I own a C63, and my old man has the new M6. Don't get to drive the M6 often, but I can tell you what I think of it so far...
It all really depends what you want from a car. If you are all about the noise, nimbleness, excitement, but still can be used as a daily if you want, then stay away from the M5.
If all you are interested in is quick acceleration, comfort, styling, and average fuel consumption, then you will enjoy the M5
