Daytime Running LED Strip

Anyone know where to get black LED strips? Want to get rid of all the chrome on the car and these things stand out a ton in my eyes... I would have them wrapped but I want it to last. Let me know, thanks

Get it painted or get it vinyl wrapped. There would be too much labor involved switching the whole DRL with a not even OEM part. Which could have fitment issues and such.

Worst case scenario...which I don't approve is to get it plasti-dipped.

You think I could wrap it without taking them out?

I plasti-dipped mine.

It's been a year and a half and they look great.

In fact I touched up my emblems and grill with plasti-dip a week ago. I didn't touch the DRL because it held up great, was the cleanest and easiest thing to plastidip too.

hmm maybe I'll just go this route since the surface area is pretty small, howd you do it? just mask off everything around it good?

Just remove them? It took me literally less than 2 minutes to remove each one. Quicker, cleaner, easier that way.

I just masked the area around and it came out clean as a whistle.

I do not know how to remove them. If I did I probably would have removed them and wrapped them.

Maroon, can you do a write up on how to remove with pics? I'm sure it would be much appreciated by many members on here.

Theyre attached by clips, pull the side out a little with your fingernails and put something in the gap like a flathead and work your way across , it popped right out for me.

Edit: will post pictures later after work no problem
