MY2011 Gauge cluster and navigation cover rattles!
Hi. Has anyone been able to fix these rattles?
-Navigation system top cover that rattles relentlessly when open, and even sometimes when closed. Can it be removed easily so padding can be applied?
-Dash cowl over instrument panel. Rattles when cabin gets warm. Perhaps it's the plastic lens cover rubbing against the upper part of the dash? Either way, it sounds terrible!
-I won't even try to fix the rear sunshade rattle.

(1) nav: I haven't done this myself yet, but some have stuck a piece of foam to the underside of the lid where it touches the dash.
(2) instrument cluster: it's the stupid plastic trim piece that's coming away from the dash itself that's rattling around. I jammed some Velcro pieces in there (the soft side, not the *****ly side).
(3) sunshade: when it starts acting up, I just put the shade up and it stops.
yup, these rattles are relentless!
ps, don't even get me started with the rattly airbag in the steering wheel!
