Eurocharged V5 Tune
Got my update yesterday from Jerry for the v5
after extensive driving in S+ mode, which is basically the only mode i drive except for warm up in C, i can definitely notice a few differences to the V4.
First, i would say the blip mode, has been there for me initially,( get to notice it only in S+ mode ) and also got aggravated when I straight de-catted, but with this tune it seems the blip mode is now mental, its effin loud and crazy & definitely more aggressive . i like it perfectly....
Secondly, i would definitely say the gear changes have been tuned better in this, it seems much much better in gear changes, and it stays longer in gear if u even depress half the pedal, almost redline changes.
This gives the car a much better acceleration feel, car feels alive.
not sure if there is an increase in hp with this tune over the v4, and since the nearest dyno is, thousandsss of miles away, i would never know...... but regardless the butt dyno says the car seems more alive, it could very well be the proper mapping of the existing v4 to utilize all the necessary stuffs in the ecu to make the car feel much more alive.........
Cheers

+ 1. I got my yesterday from Jerry as well. So mine has the stock exhaust system, and yet the blips are noticeable. The power delivery is better too, seems more alive as you and other have put it. As soon as I address some other priorities I will make decisions with modifying the exhaust system. For now, the V5 tune is great. Thanks Jerry and Eurocharged!

First start ups car seem to idle very high . Higher then usual. Not sure if this is normal with the v5 . . Before cold starts were raspy and loud .now just a high idle. Are you guys getting beeps in both c and s mode? My shifts seem to be at lower rpms then before. .

I dont drive in C or S any longer , S+ is d new C or S for me.....
And the shifts are glorious, if u quarter pedal , it behaves almost like a C or S, once u half pedal , u may stay in 5th gear for so long u may think u only have 5 gears, and car pushes properly making sure to deliver every grunt in a gear before taking u to d next

over here we dont have tyre dealers that stock brands like pss or re-11 or the very best of stickys..... so i order from the states and ship internationally
before i went with the re-11 , i read almost every review on the web , at the end of the day, i just said Re-11 to the death, i have gone tru 2 sets of PSS, they were better than my oem contis by far, but reviews always favors the re-11 over the PSS for extreme grip, and i need extreme grip

first do a TCU re-adaptation/reset, so ur sure ur TCU is behaving optimally and hasnt learned any old driving habit, then see if it improves

Do this
1. Turn the igniiton key to the "on" position which is just before you crank the engine to start.
2. Press the accelerator to the floor and hold for 5 seconds.
3. Then turn the key to the off position but do not remove the key, then release the accelerator.
4. Wait at least 5 minutes, the ECU is then reset.
The ECU rest procedure only erases the adaptive transmission and throttle settings. It does not erase any of the fuel, timing or other programming.
