Exactly, aero becomes the biggest factor. A C63 can go 0-60 in 4.2 seconds but it can not go 120-180 in 4.2 seconds. I only pick up about 30mph from my 1/4 mile trap and my 1/2 mile trap and I only pick up about 35mph in my 1 mile trap over my 1/2 mile trap. So in a 1 mile race I am doing 160mph +/- in the first 1/2 mile and only pick up 35mph over the second 1/2 mile.

Here is some more real world results. My SLS traps the 1/4 in 10.7 @139mph which is a blistering trap speed. I have had the SLS up to 212mph and it took over a 2 mile stretch to acheive.
