No EPC, but this site is pretty good for part numbers:

^ No its a pull as hard as you can vertically to get it off and break everything in the process shift ***.

The C63 I believe is a twist, don't remember.

A lot of E63 guys were swapping to this shift lever and breaking off their OEM ones in the process.

^ You might want to do some research.

First, if your shift knob twists then you'll need more than just the shifter. I don't remember and dont have a c in the garage to check.

Next, you'll want to address the shift boot. I don't think the car looks right with a shift boot and how it is pictured above is much more appropriate.

I really like this shifter too though. Maybe once I get a C again I'll look into what it would take to make the switch and make it look right also.

The shifter with the boot does take sometime to sink in but it still look way better than my current one. In the future I'll just change out the boot and make a custom plate to cover up the lever.

These are my thoughts too. Just to have a nice cover made that you can slip into where to boot goes.

The issue starts at just getting the shifter to fit. Also, the C shifter is much taller and also has a lot more travel. I'm trying to think if that would look awkward being too high as well.

I am 100% sold on the look of that shifter on the newer cars looking way better but I can see it looking worse than the shifter on the C right now if not done correctly.

EPC is free for North American use. I just signed up and downloaded the software last week to find 507 edition hood part numbers.

The only thing keeps me from buying now it's the price. $450 USD for it ugh. Where is the eBay replica when I need them.

The picture I posted said something about the CLA shifter when on google.

Just keep digging around and you might find something out there.

^ Or 2012+ e63. Hella fast, has a warranty, and an updated steering wheel / shifter. Ha, you'll probably save money in the end too!

Kidding, keep us updated for sure on the shifter. Like I said I'll hopefully be on this sooner than later as well.

I don't think I'm going to that direction. My next car is going to be something small and light not a giant power house haha.
