Clear Bra???

I have one, it covers the front bumper, front part of the fenders, side mirrors and about 18" of the hood.
I hate the line it makes, thinking about getting the whole hood done over.

I did the entire front end of mine. It's already payed for itself.
I had a rather large rock hit my hood and ripped a chunk of the clear bra off, that would have warranted painting the hood alone.

My buddy owns Prestige Auto Armor out of the Pittsburgh area.
He has touched over 40% (if I had to guess) of all the high end sports cars within a hundred miles.
As much of a believer in the product as I am, I currently do not have his film on my car, but I should.
If you take the plunge get the full hood as it is available for a good portion of the cars on the street these days.
You won't be disappointed.
If you need some info or are interested in pics:

Keep in mind there is an array of films providing various levels of quality, don't skimp on product and shop the BEST installer as some suck ***.

My buddy tells me XPEL is the best on the market with self healing properties as well as never discoloring or lifting. The clarity is also incredible.
Having said that, these films are evolving daily. The technology is incredible.

I also have been hesitant on getting a clear bar, I'm absolutely **** about my paint and I'm worried it might cause some discoloration and make it obvious that certain parts of the car are covered and others are not.
Can anyone chime in? Is it that clear that its unnoticeable?

It depends on the product and the installer you decide to go with.
IF you use the best, the outcome is incredible and is literally undetectable as long as you cover the entire hood. If you do a partial, you will see the line.
Most good installers will wrap your edges and corners where possible aiding in the lack of noticeability.
A god installer using good products will probably be in the neighborhood of $1500 - $2000 for:
Front Bumper
Fenders
Full Hood
Mirrors
Pillars
Rockers
Luggage (small area on rear bumper at the top by the trunk)

I think our cars might just be replicas of each other (except for the wheels)

Oops, missed that post. That's pretty pricey... But seeing my C covered in rock chips now, I guess it is justifiable. Fixing these chips have become a serious pain in my ***. Reputable shops charge a huge premium, and those that don't are usually quite shady, and I'd rather not leave my AMG in their hands...
I am sure you can find someone out there to cover it for far less, but you will notice a difference in quality of product as well as the installation.
I may be a little off on pricing, but I bet Im not too far off.

Got it done on the 507 (polar white) before pickup. The film (3M) ends just past the vented hood and is undetectable unless you get right up on it. Also got rocker panels done, as well as forward facing portion of the side mirrors.
