So I want to swap out my fog light bulbs for blue halogen bulbs and I was told that the size is H7.. So I ordered H7 from DDM Tuning, took the bulbs to my tech guy and he told me that the bulbs are the wrong size Does anyone know what the correct size bulb is for the fogs for W204 2008 C63? Any help is appreciated, thanks

H11. The W204 uses both types depending upon trim...ours is H11.

Actually I can't really remember which type of bulb I installed so don't take what I said as definitive, sorry.

Depends on whether your doing an HID upgrade or just replacing with new halogens. The HID bulb is an H7 and the halogen is the H11. Check the w204 (regular c class subforum). I just bumped a fog light thread with some links for the HID kit if your interested in that.

I'm pretty sure the fog bulbs are H7 on the C63...I remember someone mentioning the non-AMG C-classes uses H11 fog bulbs and C63 uses H7 fog bulbs.

I think you simply pull the bulb from the black socket housing and then replace it with the H7 bulb. But....do your research to make sure.

The fog light bulbs are H7 for the C63. Tell the shop to pull the adapter off the old bulb and insert the new bulb into it and reinstall. Find another tech guy?!?

I just installed H7 on my '09. Pull off the frontmost plastic shield under the car (maybe 12 screws), pop 2 clips off the wheel wells, then start digging. There's a DIY in the forums for this. Popping the blue clips back onto the housing was the most difficult part for me.

Cool. I may have misspoken too. I think the Halogen is an H7 for C63s and H11 for all other C's. Not 100% sure though.

There should be a marking on the glass clearly indicating the bulb type.
