Secondary cat deleted...

So after all the research
Finally went to do delete with straight pipes
However I find that tho louder
It has a unwanted bark, or rasp?
Is it because of a leak? Because it sounds like some kind of hard breathing noise
Or I need an X pipe to kill the weird noise?

Appreciate your inputs

Need a video to really tell you. I have my secondary cats + Resonator deleted and I don't have any sound like you mentioned.

You might be talking about the gargling noise at certain speeds

Hi Donald,

Check to see what the pipe was made of and if it was mandrel bent .
During my testing I found the cheaper option. ( aluminized steel ) would make a nasty drone.

will try to get a video
but it has no bend on the pipes because i didnt ask them to make flange head so they cut right at the cat and replace with two straight stainless steel pipes
its not really drone, in fact there is no drone anywhere in the cruising rpm range
its just when you gas hard with windows down, it sounds like cheap exhaust hahahaha
like a heavy metal star with a bad throat
windows up was better tho, but windows down in the tunnel sounds very very bark/rasp
now I am kind stuck because I replaced with straight weld, no flange to go back to, if I go for X pipe i need another cut, which means the original cat will render useless
i hope it was just some kind of rubbing or leaking that can be easily fixed

.
I ran K2 with the secondary cats and it was a little loud. I then added a MBH X-pipe and things quieted down a bit.
