'10-'12 Used C63 questions/ packages

Good afternoon gentlemen .

I have in the market for a used C63 and wanted to know if their is a thread ( tried searching with no luck ) or a website that I can use as a reference to look at the dealer options that could be added on. Also, is their anything visually that would show what options were added? Specifically the performance packages ( p30? p31 I believe ? ) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I plan on doing the basic bolt-ons to start : Headers / Exhaust/ Intake and Filters/ and getting it tuned . With that being said, would it even benefit to get something with the performance packages? What does MB do from the factory to get those extra HP numbers? If all they do is bolt ones, then it would be wise to save the money and use it for my aftermarket parts right? Now if they change anything internally, I can see why getting the package would be worth the $$.

Thanks in advance!

you didn't search good. there are tons of info on these.

imho if you are doing all those mods you don't need a p31 (extra 30hp). p30 has LSD and super hard suspension (some hates it) that's lower alittle than normal.

I would say in your case p30 or regular is a good choice. p30 has cf interior as well.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try again with some different key words and hope for some better results. Do you know how they get the extra 30hp with the p31?

Isn't this only for 09's and early model 10's?

Lazy lazy searching. Before you buy one of these cars you really need to do a ton of research on how much these things cost to run and operate. There are a ton of visual points that can identify what packages the car has.

Regarding how these make extra power, there is even a YouTube video on it:

extra hp from sls internals. or maybe a better tune as well. any regular c63 can get a tune and make up the difference easy.
