CPO/CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED MBZ PROGRAM
Hello I did a search here on the C63 forum and did not get the information I was looking for, so hopefully someone has experience on exactly how it works. also looked at the mbz usa site and didn't have what I was looking for either...Search: Keyword(s): CERTIFIED, PREOWNED
That being said.. MY QUESTION
People who buy a CPO C63's or any MBZ for that matter from the dealer and decides that they want to sell the car after a month - year.
My question is does MBZ still consider it a CPO even though they haven't checked out the car before I bought it? Will MBZ cover any mechanical/electrical issues I may have through the original CPO Certification?
I hope my question makes sense. Thanks for your help in advance.
ALSO ON A SIDE NOTE. with the new 2015 C-AMG Model coming out with a 4.0 Biturbo why are they going to continue to call it the C63? well all of the models that had the normally aspirated V8 6.2 liter.... E63/E63 S, CLS63/CLS 63 S, etc...
in the history of C Class AMG they went back and forth once... first was the C32, C43, C36, C55 and C63

No fee for transfer. The warranty that started with your purchase of the CPO car stays in effect with the next buyer.
And yeah, the C"63" remains a misnomer. It was to begin with being we have 6.2 liters of displacement, but now Benz has doibled down and gone "Green" (blechhh!) to be off an additional 2.2 liters in the name. Guess they wanted to maintain the identity of the line even though it's now an irrelevant number.....which makes NO sense to me. C40 would have been fine.

The current S63, E63, etc have 5.5 TT motors, its purely for marketing. They've already built up the AMG 63 nameplate that people are accustomed to.
And to the OP's first question, from what the dealer said when I purchased CPO, the current owner can either transfer the warranty over to new owner or get a refund for unused years?
