Rear View Camera Question
Is there any way to keep the rear view camera on in the cockpit when the radio is off? My father has at 2014 S550 and it does the same thing. With the radio off, when you put the car in reverse, the camera never comes on.

I have searched the forum and found no information on this phenomena. I have a 2014 C63 sedan.

Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

The manual says the Command System must be switched on. Looks like that may be your only option.

Further to this, is there any way to have the rear camera on even when the car is not in reverse?

You can connect the rear camera to the Aux video port.
