Second cat and third muffler/resonator delete
C63 Second cat and third muffler delete question
Has anyone done and H pipe and or and X pipe when deleting both the second cats and the third muffler/resonator?
If so how does it sound, how loud? Any Drone? What did you do X pipe and H pipe or just one?
Thanks for any feedback, I deleted the second cats and had my exhaust shop make me an H pipe $60 total installed BTW but I would like a little louder. Not header loud and I still want my warranty, but I would like a tad louder.

MBWorld Fanatic!
So wait you already have an xpipe in place of your secondary cats?
If so, just run straight pipes back from there, deleting the resonator, and through stock mufflers.

Mine is louder. I would like it to be louder though so I was curious if anyone had dole keyed both and either done x pipe and h pipe or straight pipes. I'm trying to avoid a crazy drone on the car and I don't want it as loud as long tube headers.

I removed the resonator, replaced with xpipe....straight pipe to the rear, removed factory mufflers and replaced quad oval tips with 3.5" quad round tips( looks WAY better to me) and the sound is AMAZING!!! I would honestly put this setups sound against any aftermarket system.....xpipe($30) tips($95) labor($65)
As soon as I get some clips up ill post them
