Need help about lower the car.

Hello guys.

I just got a set of the oem 507wheels and the HR springs. I am trying to lower it and wider it. Question is that if I lowered it what size of spacers I can use without rubbing? And do I need the new extra long bolts?

Thanks guys, have a great weekend!

Btw, the dealership replaced all my 8 spark plugs to fix my CEL problem last week.

My car is 2014 c63 sedan.

I think the 507 wheels are the same as OEM Multispokes so you can go with 10mm in the rear and 12/15mm in the front.

What tires are you planning to use - OEM sizes or wider?

Thank you, Matt. Yeah, the tires are OEM size. Do you think I need extra long bolt?

With spacers you need longer bolts
I have f/r 12/10 mm spacers and use 40 mm bolts all around
While the rear is jacked up and rotate the wheel to make sure the bolts don't contact parking brake components, mine didn't, some do, if it does the bolts will need a few mm ground off

So, where did you buy the 507 wheels, how much? Still like that wheel the best. Did they say why plugs were replaced?

Hey guys, how much they charge you for replacing the springs and wheels?
They quote me $1000. I think that is a lot.

If that is the dealer and includes crash bolts (if required) and an alignment not bad

Dealers are 30% or so higher than indies

You are providing the springs correct?

Yes, you will need longer bolts.

You will need 20 bolts in the following size:
1.5xM14 40mm

You can buy H&R spacers together with bolts at Vivid Racing

P.S. Check your email

Beautiful wheels, how much u paid & where?

1000$ is ridiculous to install springs & wheels.

No more than 300-400$ for spring install + alignment if necessary.

Tires mounting/balancing on wheels should be around 100$.

Installation with spacers u can DIY, if not at most another 50$ to install on ur car by a shop.

Thanks, got the set from eBay. They are brand new oem, and I paid for 3300.

I finally got a deal for total 500 from another body shop. But I am not sure they can do the balancing and alignment, I didn't see any equipments there.

They will help me to get the spacers by overnight shipping. But they are not sure they can get those bolts tomorrow.

I don't want to be a 507, I just like those "Y" wheels

I will post pics when I done.
