FS: RW Carbon Big Fin CF rear diffuser
So I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing my RW Carbon big fin CF rear diffuser that is a little damaged on one of the fins. I wanted to give it a shot, maybe someone would want it for a project or whatever reason. It's not heavily damaged, if it was, I wouldnt be trying to sell it to anyone for that matter. Im asking $250 shipped since I purchased the diffuser not too long ago, maybe a few months ago, and the damage isnt too bad and after cleaning it up a bit, you cant really see the damage that much. Other than that, fitment is really good and quality is up there. It is still on my car as Im waiting for my replacement diffuser, so forgive me if I cant send it out right away to any potential buyers. Updated pics are on the next page. I cleaned up the diffuser a bit and it looks much better than before, you can barely see the damage at all!! PM me if interested, thanks

It is going to be difficult to fix that unless you are a specialist. Is RW CF diffuser in real CF or just CF overlay ?
Either way GLWS.

Looks like the damage is only on the clearcoat, any bodyshop can sand it & re-clear it.

OP I understand you are receiving a new one shortly so this comment is for the new owner, whoever it may be...
Spray a sponge with tire shine and dab it on, I bet 90% of the visible damage can not be seen.
Matter of fact, OP you should do this and post up a pic for any potential buyers who this wouldn't bother so much for a sick diffuser at a good price.
Im not proud of how I know this....
Lets just say my splitter met face to face (gently) with the brick on my house!!!
Tiny mark on my splitter goes away completely when I do this.

Now that I saw the pic on my laptop, it does seems worst than it looked on my iPhone.
If the diffuser is cracked, then yes the diffuser will be expensive to fix. If only the clearcoat is damaged, then much easier to fix.

Yea, I dont want to mislead any of you guys here, so here are a few more pics of the diffuser installed on my car, and the damaged area. the clear coat is cracked and im not sure if it could be fixed or not, but Im dropping the price down to $250 shipped for now. If this diffuser was heavily damaged I wouldnt try and sell it to anyone, but considering it's just a small area, I thought I would give it a shot. More pics added, fitment for this diffuser is very good, I would consider it close to perfect, still fuming about who did a hit and run on my car

I'll have the shop check the tabs later when they take off the diffuser, I think the tabs should be fine, they're metal tabs.

So it looks like Autosport7's suggestion worked out pretty well. At least in my eyes, it looks alot better than before!! Thanks Autosport7 for the idea. If I wasnt such an OCD about stuff like this, I probably wouldve just kept the diffuser.. Anyhow, Im still keeping the price at $250 shipped for this diffuser. It will be a PITA to package this diffuser.

It does look better
But I guess overtime it will degrade so you are probably up to spray it with tire shine again every now and then. GLWS

Yeah for sure not a perm fix, but for someone looking for a great deal who is willing to shine her up a bit every now and again may get a deal.
Thankfully the area on my splitter is so small you wouldn't notice if I didn't spray it as it is superficial and could actually be buffed out.
