C63 front seat back removal

C63 front seat back removal

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the rear shell from a c63 seat ? I've removed the 2 screws from the bottom and the 2 from behind the switch panel and still no joy ! Anyone help please ???

That is just as far as I got then felt like something was going to break. I have not had any luck gettting them off.

All sorted now I only needed to get the back off to get to the wiring so I could connect the loom from my c220 base frame but I could just get to it with the 2 lower screws removed ! I've now built part electric manual sliding c63 seats in my c220 with no airbag or error codes :

Still trying to figure it out myself. But basically it looks like you have to figure out how to take the leather and foam off the front of the seat then disassemble from the inside of the back and sides.

Not sure how the leather and foam come off yet though.
