Hi guys an year a go i bought a pipercross filters. today i took it out to clean it and notice that the filters are done. they also have oil spots on them and the foam is coming out also the rubber on the side is ripped. any thoughts what is wrong.
should i use and oem filter instead on this one ?

I would just throw them away if they look as bad as the pictures appear.
I used to be a major user of Pipercross products but seldom got a full two years out of the filters. Maybe we were just cleaning them awfully hard.

Definitely dump those! I wondered if Piper Cross would stand up being a foam filter. Any foam filter I ever used degraded very quickly.
Go back to the stock filters or get dry filters from AFE or Weistec.
