Dropping the rear suspension to free up the rear axles and finally the pumpkin. Then swap the differential (you can use your OEM ring gear), put new seals, bearings, sealant, close, oil and put the pumpkin and everything back.
I would recommend to let a shop do it. Probably a 5h job.

I was quoted 11 hrs for after market LSD by a local shop. Will installation be easier than after market LSD?

UPDATE

- Finally took clean pictures of the wheels. I got the tire shop remove the tires this morning and the guy scratch one of the wheel!!! I was pissed!
So the wheel with the inner curb rash is cracked as well. I'll get a quote for the repair on monday but it shouldn't be more than $100. Basically a while back (January) on a narrow rural road with incoming traffic my inner right rear wheel hit the tarmac at low speed (45 mph). When I quickly inspected afterwards I didn't see any crack but just curb rashes. So I kept driving the car.
- I added TPMs for sale
- as well as my front Michelin PSS.

Thanks.
I think in my case the crack came following the hit on the inner side. Otherwise it wouldn't IMO.
