Seat door switch recline
So just realized that the recline button on my front driver side door does not work. I can recline the seat forward, but not back. If it werent for my programmed seat position I would be stuck sitting in a taco...
I'm guessing its just the seat switch, but all the other seat controls work, just the reclining back doesnt. I found this part online, http://www.oediscountparts.com/parts...=Seat%20switch
Does that look like what I need?
thanks

Really? If my back seats arent latched (but are in the up position), I get a warning on the instrument cluster. Also, I run my back seats folded down all the time and have no issues.

You may be correct. I know that the front seats won't recline if they are down, I am not positive about them not being fully latched. I do get the warning light if they are not fully latched but up. It still is something free to check before replacing switches.

the seat control module is probably just being stupid and needs renormalized with the computer. Either that or your motor is crapping out. Ive never seen one of the seat switches go out unless they are physically damaged or broken in pieces.

Well I know the motors are fine, luckily I have a seat config saved in memory so when i recline forward, I can push my memory 1 button and it will recline back. I only noticed cause I took it to the dealer a couple days ago for the tail light recall and they moved my seat. When I tried to recline it, it didnt work...
