Winter Tire Size
Hello - I will be soon shopping for a new set of winter tires. I have C63 2010 18" stock wheels and factory suspension height.
I will be using these stock rims for winter. Will 245/40/18 work without rubbing in the front and in the rear? According to wheel calculator size in diameter is 25.7" for 245/40/18.
Note, stock tire height is 235/40/18 with diameter of 25.4" in the front and rear is 255/35/18 with diameter of 25".
I am hoping to keep all four wheels same size and ideally run 40 series profile for more tire wall.
Thoughts?

225s will also work easily on the OEM 18" wheels.
I ran a square 225-setup last year and will be running it again this year. Where I live, I need the narrowest width possible to handle the heavy snowfall we receive.
Keep in mind that as a general rule, the wider the winter tire, the worse it will perform in the snow.
