2012 C63 P31
@eurocharged - I know upgrades are free, but how about downgrades ?
Can I ask for both V4 and V5 if I do not like the blip change ?

Thanks for your help !

2010 c63 (p31) w/LSD
I have a 2010 c63 p31 does the tune actually flash the TCU also or would I have to buy both the TCU tune for $250 and the main tune for $650? Being as I have a p31 I am actually pretty nappy with the car but the transmission shifts are SLOW and it kills the cars performance imo.

the ecu does control some shifting parameters. In order to flash the TCU you would need to send that unit to Houston

Hello. I live in mexico and I am owner of a C63 2009.
I am interested in your black friday offer "63 series tune and handheld”. I have some questions.:
1. This offer also applies to remotely tuning?
2. expected power gain is the same as that obtained by doing so at your facility? Stock 451...Eurocharged 540...
3. Is this includes up to 2 tunes at no additional charge? as offered in your website
4. do you can make a tune that lower oil temperature?
5. what is the warranty offered on the engine?
6. What would be the cost with shipping to, Mexico?

Regards

Woah, $650 for tune and My Genius?!

Count me in. I'm trying to order but shipping comes in higher to the UK than we spoke about previously ($149 vs $65). Any way to change this at the checkout?

by remote tuning if you mean sending email files back and fourth then yes. This does not include custom dyno tuning.

Yes, same power gains and includes 2 tunes if requested.

No we cannot, and we have one of the best warranties in the market.

http://www.eurocharged.com/about/warranty

Shipping depends on carrier, but usps is typically around $80

And did you do it remotely? as they say, sending the file from your ECU by email

yes all done remotely... once you get the mygenius you send them the code on the tool and they'll give you a file to download to the mygenius which will update it. Once updated you will take it to the car and download the stock software and send it to eurocharged and then Jerry will send you you're file!

thanks for the reply.

What technical differences exist, between send the file by email and make the custom dyno tuning?

About Overheating...

I understand that you are distributors Weistec. In a forum topic, a user says Weistec reprogrammed the ECU to avoid overheating:

User: JRCART
"I had more conversations with Steve at Weistec Concerning heat issues / cooling on C63's. Weistec whos Went into the computer and reprogrammed the temps in Which the fan turns on and off. They programmed my fan to turn itself on Earlier and stay running longer and then a shut off at speeds of approx 80mph or higher. He Said Depending on RPM and vehicle speed They turn the fan on at times much different than the factory settings ".

Might do you (eurocharged) talk to them (weistec) about it? ...

This is the topic:

I appreciate your attention

Are you referring to adjusting the thermostat settings so that the fan kicks in at a lower temp? MB has settings for hotter climates that kick in the fan at a lower temperature. I'm sure Eurocharged can program that for you, but I don't believe that will be part of an ECU tune.

Yes, that's exactly what I want.

Thanks for clarifying

I hope Eurocharged may include a mapping of this kind. Perhaps they have already done some similar work

Thanks Jeff

With our regular tuning, we send you your file, you flash the car and you are all set. If you would like to pay for custom dyno tuning, we make adjustments in real time to the files while the car is on the dyno and email them over. It typically takes a few tries to get it down. Both options sent via email

But I understand that the custom dyno tuning works better if you do so with my car, right?

O up another car to dyno and do tests?

Got my tune on this morning! Many thanks to Jake, Philip and Jerry for everything!
Only got to drive around 15 miles but the result is there to see.
I had V5 tune on my previous C63 and the feel that I was missing is back!

Immediately I felt the difference from stock.

2010 c63 (p31) w/LSD
Probably an odd question being this is an AMG, but does this tune change the MPG any?

Also I know our engines are detuned just so MB could justify getting customers into an E class or better but is there any negative compromise or tradeoffs to this tune?

I am very close to pulling the trigger on this deal. With my car being a P31 it makes this harder to justify than if I had a "normal" c63, if that was the case I would have already pulled the trigger but on a P31 I am on the fence.

Our box tunes (standard tunes) are built very safe and still yield great power. With a custom dyno tune we can get a little more aggressive on the maps and customize it to your ride.

Reminder our warranty doesn't cover tires!

Great! Looks like she picked up at least 20-28whp across the entire power band! Good stuff

yes sir it does just a tad as they are indeed rich from the factory.

We have tuned thousands of cars and not run into any issues. Also remember we have one of the best warranties in the business including engine replacement if due to our tuning!

http://www.eurocharged.com/about/warranty

Yes indeed the regular 63s make more power, but we have found time and time again that our P31 customers are just as happy!

There is a few posts here on p31 tuning results from us!

https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ml#post5344091

Its not all about max hp gains! Its about midrange, throttle sensitivity etc!
