Help sunroof stuck open

All, hoping you can help. I opened the sunroof today on my 2010 c63 and it would not close. Does not move at all. All I get from the button/console is a single click noise then nothing happens. I immediately checked the fuse and that looks fine, any ideas?

Having the roof stuck open is very annoying.....!!!!

Thank you in advance for suggestions

Did you try with the remote?
Most will close it if you hold the lock button
Not sure about ours

Yes
Ours does have key open & close
Hold key near door handle hold lock/unlock

Look in the manual
There is also a synchronizing procedure

My Audi and BMW had a tool in the tool kit that allowed you to manually crank it closed
You removed a piece of trim to access the cranking point
Looked like an offset allen key
The AMG appears not to have this?

I tried looking for the manual cranking point but couldn't find one. I also tried resetting it and it didn't do anything either. Will try the remote though I didn't think of that. Thanks

Edit: beat me to it on the manual crank. I can check my 09, but may not be the same. I didn't see anything in the manual though.

Tried using the remote and holding down the lock key but still nothing.

Do your makeup mirror lights work?

The fuse for the sunroof is number 17, same as the makeup mirrors. Check the light in the makeup mirror, if they are not working it may be the fuse.

Yes makeup mirrors work fine and visually the fuse looks fine too. Strange to me that the switch clicks like it still has power etc.

Check the rails that nothing is obscuring the path.

Check the motor.

If you need a new sunroof, I have one.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with this?

My sunroof is doing the exact same thing right now. It is stuck all the way closed but will not pop up to complete the seal.

I've tried the remote, no luck and the sync procedure with no luck.

Well after pushing the button 700 times it finally closed. This morning it tilted perfectly, I was able to sync it, and now it seems to be working as it should.

This car is going to be the death of me. I can't handle the increasing number of problems.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
I'll take a manual cranking sunroof any days over a powered one. Better yet, I prefer no sunroof at all.
