The worst part about the c63?

I just remember a solution being posted for getting music to stream that had no feedback and a good sound.

2010 c63 (p31) w/LSD
Admittedly I didn't read the whole thread again but if I remember correctly from when I read it 9 months ago trying to look for an answer to this problem the integration you are describing only worked for iPhone users (so only about 14% of smartphone users and declining on a quarterly basis) and it only added the ability to skip and display titles. There still was no thumbs up and down like you can get in a $15k ford or Toyota or dodge. Actually I don't even think the factory unit on the facelift c63 models can do the full integration can they (like thumbs up and down)?
Back on the topic of this thread I will add that in some ways I wish I had not bought the c63 but in others I do love it. I am 99% sure though that when my extended warranty ends (about 34 months from now) I am selling the car. It is a fun car but knowing what I know now after having the car for exactly nine months and two days I would not buy it again given the chance to go back and do it over.

No worries. Honestly, I didn't read much into the thread but remembered a bluetooth thread popping up recently. I don't have to worry about it so I didn't read much.

Wondering what you'd have to say is your biggest disappointment in regards to these cars. The biggest thing by far for me is the overall ride comfort. I had a 2014 e350 that I traded in for a '14 c63. And what a horribly uncomfortable ride it is. You feel every imperfection in the road. Wish there was a way to make it not so bad. My E rose like a dream. I love the performance of my C but man. Almost a game changer if I could go back and do it over again.
I wonder if the upper class AMG's ride better. I'd assume they HAVE to. Specifically the E63?? Wonder how it rides.

Because my car with 18in is super smooth. Not harsh at all. Yes it is firm, but not uncomfortable at all. Just good body control.
Maybe you should try swapping wheels. If you already have 18in, maybe you shouldn't own a sporty car because the C63 is as smooth as sporty car can be, imho.
To me the worst part is the small fuel tank and the fact the transmission can't leave from a dead stop in 2nd gear in M mode. I use the car in the snow and 1st is useless. It would be nice to be able to leave in 2nd (or even 3rd).

What psi are you running for your tires? I find 37psi F and 39 psi R works the best. Keep in mind that is the COLD psi that I'm running. When it warms up, it goes up to 39F/41R. I also don't usually have my car loaded with cargo or passengers.

"Performance Pack" ... It is practically telling you the ride is stiffer in the name.
I ran 19's on springs and thought the ride was fine. Non-pp
The biggest issue here is that ride comfort all comes down to personal preference. You may be 18 without back problems and say it is fine, or 65 and practically a quadriplegic and think otherwise.

The issue with your post is the word "too." Too harsh for one is just right for another. Buying a C63 and then complaining about the stiffness of the ride seems a bit silly to me, but to each his own. That's why they have things called test-drives.

On a more serious note, I will say doing one test drive will never really work on cars like these. Everyone is going to be blown away by the sound and power and feel because it is quite likely it is the fastest thing they've owned to this point.
I did this with my porsche turbo. Was build on an Evoms kit to over 700whp and as soon as I drove it I HAD to have it. Sold it two months later because I just didn't end up liking it that much.
Personal preferences gents.

Wait, you mean... You can drive these before you sign to buy?

Don't feel bad about that. I have to admit I also had a negotiated deal prior to stepping foot into the showroom.

I got to sit in the Edition 507 at the Frankfurt Auto Show for a minute... Besides that, the first time I heard a C63 engine was when I picked mine at the factory....

My e63s rides very comfortably
Do you have 19's? If so the 18's can help a lot

My 507 rides fine for a sports sedan, though is harsh over bumps or pot holes... but all that is forgiven the moment you get some clear road and push it like it was built to be driven. Not harsh then - just pure fast and flowing through the turns, soaking up the humps and dips, and keeping up with exotic cars that cost a LOT more.
More than a tenth of the life of my 507 has been spent on closed roads going fast, yet only 1 squeak (seems to be rear sunroof), and that only just started. I had a monit antenna fitted that required cable to be passed through the sunroof rubber, so will get that removed and hard wired remotely, to see if that fixes the cold squeak.
Love the car, couldn't be happier with it. I have a tune and 2 sets of wheels (19 for street and 18 for road racing/tracj days). On order I've got headers, cooling package 440, and a couple of carbon bits coming.
Yeee ha!
BTW my phone music can play easily via the BT.
Oh yes! My one real gripe is that I can't figure out how to re-sort my phone contacts from surname ranking to first name. That annoys me as my computer and phone contacts are all ranked by first names.

Not this car but I have bought a couple of other cars exactly as you described. In fact I have bought a few new cars without even having test driven it at all. Negotiated everything by email, went in looked at car, signed paperwork and drove home.

Or depending on where you live and the roads you drive on. The DC MD VA roads are pretty horrible. Always under construction.

Peter, I should've test drove the e550 :-/ don't get me wrong I do love the car and plan on keeping it for 8-10 years unless life says otherwise. I think as time goes on the love will continue to grow and the remorse will fade.
