Interior/kick panel lights stay on

Interior/kick panel lights stay on
I just replaced all the lights in my car with led lights....the kick panel/floor lights stay on and brighten when you open the door....is this normal??? Never noticed it till after I put the new lights in.

On a side note, i notice after i lock the car at night, for some time after i lock the car (15+ mins) , and if you look into the car, the interior door handles are still illuminated.
