I stumbled across this.
I think im going to get one. $438 Euro = $650AU.
Not too bad.

I read the installation instruction manual, and its pretty straight forward.

Posting this up, to see if anyone else had this specific brand of module.

I know there are others out there that integrate iPhone App, and GPS etc.
Not really interested in those. I like this one as its quite straight forward.

Anyhow, what do you guys think?

Well, sucks they wont ship to the US or Canada... but I like the concept.

According to their website they ship worldwide. I wonder what the range of the key is, i.e. from how far away the remote start can be done.

Oh this would be perfect for starting my car before closing time... It gets super dark, and I hate leaving my car unlocked when it's running! I sent them a inquiry, with how cold it gets here and how many MB we deal with, it would be worthwhile to deal with them. If any Calgarians are interested... PM me.

Unhappily, if you try to purchase you'll run into a message that says "PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship to USA nor Canada"

Has anyone had any feedback from them about why, or about when this might change?

Don't know where your looking, but right on their page, when you click buy it now it says PLEASE NOT: We do not ship to the USA or Canada.


Now, on the other hand, I did find this that apparently is installed at the dealership, and can be controlled by smartphone as well.

Contacted them a year ago and they will not let you do a self install, they wanted me to pay someone to install it which just made it too expensive.

Ofcoarse! We've shipped tuned ECU's and MyGenius units to the states before, this would be easy. I just hope they are interested in branching out of Europe.

I'm definetly interested in this. Looks cool and simple, which I like, it keeps the "oem" feel. Looking at the pics it looks right but it doesnt say anything about working with the c63 specifically, just the w204 chasis. Still should work though, right?

I have the midcity unit on my W212 and had one on my W211 before that. They work great. A tap on the panic button and the car fires right up. If you want remote start on a Benz this is the way to go.

I think there is also a smartphone accessory you can add to control it via smartphone from anywhere, but I didn't opt for that.

Received a reply from the mbclimate help desk and they stated that they are setting up a master dealer in the USA in a few days. Will let you know if I hear anything else

German emissions law basically bans idling, so starters aren't offered in German cars.

Just get this..I have one and they are the same as Viper..rebranded..many installers available around Alberta...I also added the Drone so iphone starting and tracking works spanky
