Does 2012 use a dvd for navigation updates?
I have searched and checked my manual but I am not sure how to get updates for my nav. Navigation.com shows no product for my car. Can anyone answer that and also tell me where to find the latest update? Thanks.

I believe the dealer sells the DVDs, at least they do for the 2009.

12' will use the navi dvd update. $200-300 in that range for price for the DVD. Wait a few more weeks usually 2015 update comes out close to Feb. otherwise you'll purchase the 14' DVD.

jeez whats the labor rate in aus? 400$/hr lol everything there is double.
The navigation disc's are pricey and just a 1 time 2-3hr update. However the disc itself is only like 30$ your paying a bunch extra for the licensing and coding number to install it in that headunit (this is all mb - not dealer scheming). So if you think youre clever and sneaky going in halfsies with a friend you'll be sorely disappointed.
