Power window switch rattle - anyone else annoyed...

The power window switches in my '14 507 are extremely loose in their mounts and rattle incessantly over any rough roads. Easily annoyed by strange noises, I can't help but be constantly listening for it. Anyone else here feel the same way? Minor, I know. But irritating nonetheless.

That's a new one to me. I've got a crap ton of other rattles in the c63, but not the window switches ... yet.

I notice it most when traveling down a finely imperfect road. They just sit there and jiggle away relentlessly taunting me. A song with significant bass will also cause them to sing their filthy song.

New one to me too. Is it each individual switch or the switch assembly moving about in the door panel?

If the latter and the dealer won't address it I'd probably pop the assembly out and add a dab of silicone then reinstall.

It's each individual switch so I can't lock it down at all. Just run your finger over them and see all the wiggly waggly they do.

I would take it to the dealer. It may be a defective part they could swap under warranty. Even if not, they could probably address it somehow. Incidentally, I don't notice any wiggling of my switches.

Hmm, the button itself that your finger moves to actuate the motor doesn't wiggle around at all? Maybe mine are different and capable of replacement for a cure.

I agree with Maximus. Take it to the dealer.
Mine don't wiggle a bit.

Your window switch assembly probably need to be replaced. Defect that will be covered under warranty

Mine do that too. I stuck a piece of a business card (small piece just enough) between two of the switches and it fixed it. Doesn't bother me that it's there because I rarely look at that area... I'm more interested in the road/tac/speed

I do NOT have that problem. Sounds like they need to be replaced.

You guys were right. New switches are much tighter and the rattle is gone. And so is the rear shelf creak, for now.

My switches are solid, no movement at all and no rattles.

I would suggest a trip to the Dealership

No problems with the switches but.......when the passenger gets out the seat belt tongue rattles on the hard plastic (air bag cover?) on the side of the seat, I have to place the seat belt over the seat bolster or plug it in to stop the rattle. It's worse at idle, the Eisenmann exhaust takes care of it above idle
