OP -- If you can, get 275/30's.

275/35 are a taller tire than stock 26.6, slighter larger side wall. If u go with the size u will want ,245/40/19 up front which is 26.7. This is the setup I plan on running in summer to fill stock wheel gap and give more sidewall for potholes

PSS all the way. I have never had another tire that has consistently provided the level of grip that the PSS do, worn evenly and lasted as long as they have. Yes, the RE11s are a bit stickier at first, but you'll end up replacing them three times as often.

I dunno what happened with my car rubbing. MAYBE the estate is slightly different from sedan / coupe?
I tried KUMHO 275/30/19 [Rears] on a 9.5" / 48+ . Rubbed on the motorway over undulations. Also rubbed on general cornering, coming off speed bumps, etc.
Then i did Pirelli PZERO Silver 265/30/19 on 9.5" / +53. Same story. Rubbed on the motorway over undulations. Also rubbed on general cornering, coming off speed bumps, etc.
I had to go down to 255s on the rear - Pirelli PZERO (9.5" +53) and ZERO issues in all conditions.

Nitto's run narrower than PSS's. I have previously run 275 nitto invo's. If cost is a concern, they are a good option if you do a lot of burnouts or go through tires quickly. If you are concerned about treadwear and wet weather driving, look elsewhere.

Nitto = Toyo. Good bang for the buck but not quite the best there is. I can't comment on fitment, but the PSS run pretty wide so I would expect other brands in the same size to be equal or slighly narrower.
