Steel Grey Metallic C63!!
James @ ACG took care of me a few years back when they performed my Quaife LSD install!

For all those that are on the fence about doing an LSD upgrade, this is a good deal! I would have to say that this upgrade is more important than any power upgrades for our cars!

I wish you guys were closer to me. San diego is kind of far for a diff install. Haha. Or actually I wish I lived in San Diego! Good price.

It truly is. I honestly believe it's more worth while than an ECU tune if you don't have the factory LSD. Completely changes the way these cars perform.

We could knock it out in a day if you ever wanted to make a nice little road trip. Not a bad place to kill 24 hours

Yeah i know. My parents live in San Diego too. But the cost of driving to and from with hotels and gas, excluding maintenance and tires, is roughly $1500-2000. I could almost fly out there and see them and also get a diff installed here for that much, plus save stone chips on the car. If I move there in a couple years (knock on wood) I might stop by the shop.

I concur. I replaced the factory P30 LSD with a Wavetrac at ACG and that was a difference of kind, not just degree. Even over the OE LSD the end result completely exceeded my expectations. Some here say "why bother, it's only if you track the car" but for short money this is a mod that totally transforms the car for the everyday, enthusiast driver.

I'm on the fence - tell me more. What did you feel was different, how would you describe the way the car felt 'before' and 'after'?

This has been written about ad nauseam here but I'll mention two areas where I feel the Wavetrac makes a big difference for me. (Note that my car was P30 to begin with).

Putting down the power in straight line acceleration: With ESP on (and even now with either the OE or current Wavetrac LSD) I almost always got/get tire chirp and some power loss from the ESP nanny. In ESP Sport mode with the Wavetrac there's no chirp, no power cut, just "power-on" and go fast...it's simply uncanny how much more efficiently the power is put down when the LSD is allowed to do its thing.

"Sport driving": The LSD reduces understeer during cornering because the additional power apportioned to the outside wheel essentially pulls the car into the corner and then out. Torque is better controlled throughout. Perhaps it sounds like an overly ambitious generalization but I truly believe in under almost any cornering condition you'll benefit from an LSD. If you enjoy throttle steer it'll make a BIG difference.

In some cases clearance must be made on the pumpkin itself to allow the diff unit to slip in.

Other than that, just new bearings, seals and some fluid.
