New member/ My 2010 C63
Hello everyone, new member here. I have a 2010 C63 which I purchased new in november 2009 in Chicago. In the Last 5 years, I have only driven 10k miles, mostly spirited driving. Spent most of my time and efforts on it with performance mods rather than visual mods. My daily is a w220 S65 so i will be on that section of the forum as well!
Mods so far:
-H&R Coilers with about 1.75" drop
-Eurocharged Tune
-MBH X-pipe replacing resonator, and straight piped the sec cats
-K&N Drop in filter, charcoal delete
Currently In the mail:
-MBH LT headers
-OEM ROW Air boxes from ECS tuning
-Handheld tuner from Eurocharged
Does anyone have any shop recommendations in the Orlando, FL area for the header install? I will do the ROW air box my self. Also, what tires does everyone prefer and have good experience with? Not happy with the thread life on the pirellis! First set lasted 4k, second set is almost done at 6k.

Thanks, Looks like michelin is the popular option! What kind of width is everyone running? Ive been thinking about going wider, but with the drop i dont think I can run 285 but 275 maybe?

I have stock 18s on H&R springs and am just about to replace with 235/40 and 265/35 PSS. I'll swap in the spring so the new tires don't get flat spotted sitting all winter.

I'm gonna try the Michelin as3. Seem to be a good all around tire with pretty long wear. They have a wear life warranty like the PSS also.

Car looks great, nice S65 DD as well! I have the stock OEM 18s so I went with 255 Michelin PSS, I will continue to only get these for as long as I have the car, but I would recommend 275 if you have bigger wheels (once I upgrade to a 20" setup will be switching to 275)

Thanks! And yeah that makes sense, I can't see going any wider than 265 on the stock rims. And 275 overall with the drop, feel like it would rub on the fender

ROW Airboxes installed and v5 tune optimized for my mods installed! Huge difference from the older tune I had, shifting in manual mode is so smooth, Air box making a huge difference too can feel the car having more free airflow. Sadly can't put any power down as my tires are bald and keep spinning. Got quoted $500 for Michelin PSS from tire kingdom mounted, balanced and installed.
Plan is to get the headers installed, use up the remaining thread on the old tires, then get the new ones!
